Getting Started

Working with me is always a partnership. Together, we create space to better understand your experiences, reconnect with yourself and find your way through the seasons of womanhood, mothering and life transitions.

Most of my work is offered online, allowing you to access support regardless of where you live. I also offer some face-to-face sessions where this is the most appropriate option for your individual circumstances.

Regardless of the type of support you are seeking, you can get started with the option that feels right for you:

A Free 15 Minute Connection Call

This is a no obligation opportunity for us to talk about what is happening for you and the challenges you face. During the call you will have space to be heard, and we will discuss what I could offer and give you some information about approaches or strategies that I use. We can work out if we are a good match for working together and discuss what this might look like. You then decide if you would like to follow through with an initial appointment.

Get Started with your First Appointment

Ready to start working with me? Book your first appointment and we will begin exploring your story, your experiences and what you would like support with.

Prior to your appointment, I will send you a clarity questionnaire so I can begin to understand a little more about you, what has brought you here and what you hope to explore through our work together. This allows me to prepare relevant resources and make the most of our time together.

During our first session, we will explore what is currently working well, what feels challenging, and the areas where you would like to create change. We will consider the context of your life, your values, your goals and the experiences that have shaped you. Together, we will develop a personalised plan and begin identifying practical strategies, resources and supports that align with your needs.

How long is an appointment?

Sessions are available for either one hour or one and a half hours.

One-hour sessions are most suitable for initial assessments and mental health-focused appointments where we are exploring strategies, patterns, emotional wellbeing and practical supports.

Sessions focused on pelvic health, menstrual cycles more complex women’s health concerns may benefit from being the longer hour and a half format. All face to face sessions are 1.5 hours to allow time for assessment, discussion, education and hands-on support where appropriate.

Where can appointments occur?

Most appointments at The Wild Orange Tree are offered online via secure telehealth, allowing you to access support from the comfort of your own home, wherever you are located in Australia.

Online sessions can be particularly valuable during seasons of life where leaving the house feels difficult, where routines are full, or where having support within your own environment is beneficial.

Face-to-face appointments are also available at selected locations and times throughout the year. Please get in contact to discuss your circumstances and whether an in-person appointment is available or appropriate for your needs.

Regardless of whether we meet online or face-to-face, sessions are designed to provide a safe, connected and personalised space to explore your wellbeing and support your goals.

Planning Ongoing Support

At the end of your initial appointment, we will talk together about ongoing support to help you work towards your goals and what frequency feels most appropriate for your circumstances.

I recognise that choosing to invest in your wellbeing is a significant commitment – financially, emotionally and practically. Ongoing sessions are designed to honour that commitment by creating dedicated space to pause, reflect, make sense of your experiences and continue building the awareness, skills and strategies that support meaningful change.

I believe women are the experts in their own bodies and experiences. My role is to walk alongside you, offering clinical knowledge, guidance and different perspectives while supporting you to develop greater trust in your own intuition and capacity to make decisions about what feels right for you. The way we work together will be personalised to your needs, goals and season of life. Some women benefit from more regular sessions to build momentum and support change, while others prefer sessions spaced further apart with time to integrate and practise strategies between appointments.

If you are accessing face-to-face appointments, we can discuss availability around my planned visits to different locations throughout the year. As these appointments are linked to my travel schedule, some women choose to combine face-to-face sessions with online appointments in between to maintain connection and continuity of support.

If you are accessing support through a Mental Health Care Plan, we can also discuss how this structure may support the number and timing of sessions that are most appropriate for your goals.
