Are you friends with your pelvic space, and how is this impacting the things you want to do?

It’s not always easy to be friends with our body, let alone our pelvis. Emotions, trauma, scar tissue, shame, procedures, and a cultural tendency to disconnect from this part of ourselves can leave us feeling really vulnerable. It can be easier to close off.

But in my work I see how our pelvic health, menstrual cycles and emotional wellbeing are so tied up in how we connect to our pelvis. It holds the stories we tell ourselves about mothering, those around us and ourselves.

An easy first step is to stop, listen and see what it feels like to pay attention to our pelvis.

This month’s blog highlights the importance of our relationship to our pelvis, and gives you an activity to start checking in with how your pelvis might be impacting your roles and wellbeing.
